Why Posh Kids Need Bentley’s Limited Edition Centennial Stroller Trike
There might not be a more stylish way to take your child for a stroll around the neighborhood than in one sporting a Bentley logo. Bentley Motors has recently released a limited edition version of the luxurious Bentley Trike to celebrate the British manufacturer’s 100 years of creating luxury automobiles.
Billed as a “stroller that grows with your child,” the limited edition trike features a matte black frame, rims and pedals as well as gold stitching, satin detailing and eco-leather touch points. It also comes with a cup holder along with a new storage basket that attaches magnetically as well as a new locking system for the push handle, making it easier to attach/detach.
Designed to replicate the Bentley Continental GT, the trike features a chrome Bentley logo on the metal frame and the same color finish as the Bentley Continental cars. What makes the trike stand out is the ability to easily convert from a stroller to a trike as children continue to grow.
We caught up recently with Deepak Raghavan, president of Posh Baby & Kids (the distributor of the Bentley Trike in North America), to chat about some of the most luxurious features of this commemorative model.

Can you give us some insight on what went into designing the Centennial Bentley stroller trike?
We are one of the partners authorized to distribute Bentley branded products. They invited their partners to their 100-year celebration in Crewe, UK. I had a tour of the Bentley factory. Everything is handmade from the engines to the painting and stitching. They want to make every car unique and exclusive. We are the distributors for North America. For that event, we said it would be cool to come out with a limited edition trike. It’s an upgraded version of the regular Bentley trike. Only 570 are being made and we started selling it last month. As for the design, it’s all matte black with gold stitching and changes from a stroller to a tricycle.

Why did you decide to partner with Bentley to produce this for kids?
We have been working with Bentley for 2.5 years selling the regular version of the Bentley trike. Many celebrities have recently been spotted with the trike, including Kylie Jenner with her daughter, Serena Williams, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel and Adam Levine.

What model Bentley is the trike designed to resemble?
The Bentley Continental GT. It matches the seats, the wheels and the colors.

What are some of the most luxurious features of this limited edition commemorative model?
I really like the leather accents it has and there are some nice features like the free handlebar function where the child can pretend they’re steering while you push from the back. Kids really love this product – they really seem to enjoy it. There is also a free pedal function where they don’t control the actual wheels. Kids take a bit of time to get the hang of it because they often start to push both pedals. For this model, they can just rest their feet or get the hang of pedaling. The cross stitch is really cool on the seats along with the fact that it converts from a stroller to a full trike with rugged wheels.

Since it’s to be used for kids eight months to four years old, would you consider it an investment piece?
Absolutely. You’re using it typically 4.5 years. It’s a more limited stock, so it’s a bit higher price point ($600) because it lasts so long.

Is the trike designed to assist kids in developing motor coordination?
It is designed to help them learn how to pedal and steer.
