Kids In Akid x Jaime King

Celebrity supermom Jaime King has partnered with trendy children’s footwear line, Akid, to create a line of fresh kid’s shoes with rough and tumble durability. Inspired by her sons, the collection features two styles – the Atticus, a lace-up boot and the Liv, a slip-on sneaker – in a selection of King’s favorite colors, including purple, olive green and burgundy. All are made with premium suede exteriors and full grain leather lining, so that style is not compromised for practicality. In addition, all come with detachable foxtail or pom-pom clips, giving each pair a fun and youthful appeal.

Akid’s collaboration with King comes fresh off the company’s successful partnership with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West’s kidwear line, Kids Supply. Together, they made a limited edition, faux fur slide called the Aston, heavily popularized by none other than Miss North West (and friends), whose been seen countless times in paparazzi shots, as well as in Kardashian West’s Instagram and Snapchat accounts wearing the elevated, athleisure-inspired style.

Kids have also favored the brand’s recent collaboration with the Despicable Me 3 movie franchise, which features slides, slip-on sneakers, combat-style boots and lace-up sneakers, all adorned with embellishments inspired by the popular movie. (The Liv, slip-on sneaker with glow-in-the-dark minion eyes and the Atticus, high-top, lace-up boot with a fun, minion-print, durable rubber soles and a premium, pony hair upper are two of our favorite styles from the collection).
